Move Over ‘Star Trek’ Geeks, Here Come ‘The Big Lebowski’ Geeks

As Comic-Con cleared out of San Diego and crews cleaned up all of the nerd paraphernalia, we thought about how dedicated some of these fans are. They don’t care what people say. They’ll show up in their superhero costumes — some of them dancing like crazy — or with their Spock ears without any fear.

But look out Star Wars and Star Treek geeks, there are Big Lebowski fans who come together every year to praise the movie, and they dress up in costumes and quote from the hysterical movie. There’s a documenatry about these gatherings and it’s called The Achievers. The DVD comes out on August 18. It would be great if the DVD came with a free rug.
