10 Greatest Film Reenactments By Brandon Hardesty

Brandon Hardesty has been on YouTube for a while, building a following by doing fantastic reenactments of classic and modern films. Recently, he has been discovered by agents and you’ll soon start seeing him in movies. His first film, Bart Got A Room, opened recently in limited release and he’s starring in the next American Pie straight to dvd film (because there aren’t enough of those already).

Brandon recently put up a new reenactment video from Punch Drunk Love (starring Adam Sandler, Emily Watson, and Philip Seymour Hoffman, who sometimes looks like a South Park character). We thought it was a great reenactment so, in honor of it, we decided to make a list of his 10 best.

10. Punch Drunk Love
Punch Drunk Love is a wonderfully acted, underrated romantic comedy. And Brandon does a great Philip Seymour Hoffman.

9. Goodfellas
This famous scene has been reenacted by every shmuck but he does a good job.

8. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
We always feel this movie gets referenced a lot less than it should.

7. The Dark Knight
Brandon tackles some of the most iconic characters in movie history.

6. Fargo
In this scene, he plays a pregnant Frances McDormand and the hilarious William H. Macy.

5. 12 Angry Men
Warning: spoilers. This is the big monologue at the end of 12 Angry Men

4. A Few Good Men
“You can’t handle the truth!”

3. Pan’s Labyrinth
All in Spanish. Impressive.

2. The Shining
The second Nicholson on this list.

1. Pulp Fiction
This one is just unbelievably good.
