There’s a lot of peer pressure on kids when it comes to drugs. Sometimes, they just need to learn on their own about what’s safe and what isn’t. We’ve all learned some valuable lessons about snorting Drano, haven’t we. It’s good sh*t!
But Hollywood has other ideas on how to get the anti-drug message out. Some executives believe they can reach kids about avoiding drugs by having Bugs Bunny, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and Kermit the Frog give them warnings in an entertaining manner.
First of all, Bugs Bunny is a total a**hole, and why should kids listen to him about drugs? Have you seen what that rabbit has done to poor Elmer Fudd over the years? He’s coked out of his mind. We all remember Bugs’ arrest in 1985 on cocaine possession. Sure, it was the ’80s, but Bugs is a role model. As for Alvin and the Chipmunks, their tour bus is smokier than Willie Nelson’s. Still, these cartoon characters appear in an awful — but hilarious — anti-drug movie that is even more entertaining when you’re high. Light up and enjoy!
