Hollywood is going to make a movie version of The A-Team. Why remake a TV show? Well, it’s simple. The studios know that you have brand recognition with a television show and you really can’t go wrong with that premise.
Oh, yeah. Land of the Lost. Except for that one. But that’s really the exception. Believe us.
Oh yeah. Miami Vice really stunk the joint out.
Fat Albert. Ouch.
Lost in Space. This is getting ridiculous. At least, Scooby-Doo, Bewitched, The Avengers, The Flintstones, The Dukes of Hazzard, Inspector Gadget, The Mod Squad, Wild, Wild West were all good remakes, right?

What we can tell you is that Liam Neeson is in talks with 20th Century Fox to play Col. John “Hannibal” Smith in The A-Team. Bradley Cooper is also in talks to star in the film as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck. No word yet on who will be playing Sgt. B.A. “Bad Attitude” Baracus. We know that Gary Coleman is available. He’s always available.
Although production has not started on The A-Team, we’re already seeing trailers for the movie with some well-known faces. This videos is a fantasy trailer, which means the creator has fantasies about all of these actors.
Instead of creating something brand new, just go old school. And this is where Mr. Spock comes in. See, we tied it to the headline after all.
