Coming to theaters later this year is “Black Dynamite,” a spoof of blaxploitation films of the 1970s. If you’re asking yourself, is it worth shelling out $11 to see this film? Don’t answer just yet. What if we told you the great Arsenio Hall is making a movie comeback? What if we told you Arsenio plays a character by the name of Tasty Freeze? What’s that? You think that’s delicious. See you at the theater. Going to see a movie with Arsenio or Sinbad in it is like throwing water balloons at the slow kids at summer camp. It’s hilarious.
Sure, it’s true there have been a number of blaxploitation films, but let’s be fair about this. Let’s not forget the other movies that shamelessly exploited the people that are quickly becoming minorities in this country. That’s right, we’re talking about the poor white folks. We’re talking about Whitesploitation.
