Muppets. Remember when they were extremely popular and put out some great movies? The TV show was a classic. The sexual tension between Kermit and Miss Piggy was palpable. But then came the sex assault charges against Kermit by the Swedish Chef. It shocked us all. The trial and the denials were ugly. Their image was tainted.
Now the Jim Henson company is back and making some extremely bad choices with their movie projects. We’ve just seen the trailer for “Jim Henson’s Resident Evil 5,” and this will scare the crap out of kids. They haven’t seen anything this disturbing since Lindsay Lohan’s attempt at acting in “Herbie Fully Loaded.”
