Studio’s Big Non-Announcement About ‘Super Friends’

From the early ’70s to the mid-’80s, the Super Friends were a mainstay of Saturday mornings for kids, along with Kool-Aid and Asbestos. Remember all that talk about a live action film being in the works last year? Well, we’re here to tell you that the movie is still dead in the water. Although there is a cool fan website about the non-existent movie. Instead, Warner Home Video is announcing a new collection of cartoons from the classic series. This time it’s “Super Friends – The Lost Episodes.” Just as a good as an awesome live-action film.

Of course, Hollywood is too busy creating fine movies like “The Pink Panther 2″ and “The Love Guru” to get around to the Justice League film. So, as we try to fill the void in our Super Friend-less world, we give to you the “Mexican Super Friends,” via “The Family Guy.”

And if that weren’t enough, we’re getting a ’90s flashback as this video mashes the show “Friends” with the cartoon “The Super Friends.” It’s funny or the gayest thing you’ve ever seen.
