“Land of the Lost” was the wonderfully cheesy 1970′s Saturday morning show that, as you know, is being turned into a major motion picture which is fantastic because we’re in no mood to see a minor motion picture. The show was about a family of three trapped in an alien world inhabited by dinosaurs and, you guessed it, monkey-people. We can’t believe the monkey-people never got their own spinoff but “Joanie Loves Chachi” did. Some things just don’t make sense to us like string theory, Calculus, or “Ocean’s Twelve.”
The big screen version of “Land of the Lost” hits theaters on June 5th starring Will Ferrell, and in this behind the scenes interview with Ferrell, or as we like to call him, Will Ferrell, he reveals the original show was tinged with sexuality and the original name of the show was “Vaginasaur.” We checked on Wikipedia and it says the Vaginasaur actually existed. Wait, did we say Wikipedia. We meant Vaginapedia.
